Alright, la meres. Here we go again. This mama is having another baby and today I'm celebrating with morning sickness! I almost can't believe it. Then I get a little queasy and believe it with all my being. I'm thrilled. I'm over the moon. And I also have a healthy sense of "What in the world do I think I'm doing!" Last year when we were considering a second child, my husband fortuitously found himself in a cab on the way home from DFW airprot. The cab driver, who was an immigrant from an East African country - I don't remember which one, asked about children - Do you have any? How many? Etc. My husband mentioned that when all is said and done, we may only stick with one. His driver smiled and said, "Each child brings their own luck." Well, I'm all for it. We've been nothing but lucky with Walker and I say MORE JOY. Bring it!

Two is a magic number.

I am so jealous! And not. I have many friends who are on their second and it does seem quie exhausting. I keep hoping that we may yet be surprised with another blessing....never say never eh!

My living room is trashed, my kitchen unrecognizable, my 3 year old is in time-out for throwing a toy car, and I just stuck a pacifier into my daughter's mouth so I could type for a second. But earlier this morning I sat with my little girl snuggled into the crook of my arm and my son came up and gave her the most gentle kiss on the forehead...so it's all worth it :)
