Joyeux Noël.

The ultimate Bohemian Mama:

My husband and I have been reading Dickens' A Christmas Carol aloud over the past few nights. We do it every Christmas. One of my professors in college spoke of this Christmas story as one of the greatest pieces of "healing" literature of our time. I have to agree. This dark, cold, and sometimes bleak time of the year can be so taxing and bereft - I think that's why more people pass away at this time of the year. But I have always thought of this time - this Winter Solstice time - as a season of renewal. Of turning inward and listening to our soul's true desires. This is the season of deep wishing and manifestation. Just like Scrooge's withered and locked-up heart - we are all capable of total and absolute redemption. We are all capable of BIG LOVE. I'm spending this holiday season with child. I'm pregnant with what will eventually be my second child. I am pregnant with hope, with unspeakable joy and a deep wish for peace in our hearts, peace in our homes, peace in our communities and peace on this green, verdant and ever-burgeoning earth.

Merry Everything and Happy Always.
